Johnny Cook was one of the best tenors to ever sing Southern Gospel Music. Voted the Singing News Fan Award for Favorite Tenor in 1974 & 1975, and Male Vocalist of the Year by the Gospel Music Association's Dove awards in 1976, Johnny Cook was a tenor's tenor. On the road since 1970, Johnny sang with The Songmasters, The Meadows Brothers, and most notably The Happy Goodman Family and The Statesman Quartet. He also enjoyed a great solo career producing many great albums.
